Fine then, if you’re so curious I’ll let you back here… but don’t try anything or you’ll be in more trouble than you’d believe. I’ll just stand here by the doorframe as you walk by… alright, let’s go. To the right here are the stoves and ovens, where the feasts are prepared as well as the everyday meals. To the left right over there are the iceboxes, where we let the ale cool. In the back that way there’s a meat locker, but there’s nothing in there except animal corpses.  We have an exit or two of our own back here, in case they get too rowdy in the front. No need for us to risk our necks when we can just wait and clean up the mess after the fight’s over. Actually I rather like to watch the fights… but my sense of self-preservation is a bit less acute than most. Do you want a drink then? Here you go… and this one’s on the house. Now out of the kitchen so we can get some work done.
