Far past the Proper and deep into the forest, there is a place few have seen, and fewer have entered. If you wander and search far enough you may find it, an area where the woods seem to stop, and the foliage grows so thick and tall there is no way to tread on. This is the Nature’s Ring, the first line of defense to trespassers, as this is a spiritual place, and a holy ground to many of the Old and New World.

Those lucky enough to step inside are shocked by the breathtaking beauty. The aromas of thousands of flowers like the sweetest perfume, the colors brighter than any silk or precious jewel. Before you spans the Druids’ Grove, a home of many rare species of plant and a sanctuary for the disciples that call it their home. At its centers lies a circular pool, its surface calm and mirror smooth. Tranquility radiates from its depths, and glimpses of sprites can sometimes be seen skipping nearby. The water is cool to the touch, filled with the tingle of ancient magics, and, if you concentrate, you can feel the beating of the Grove’s amber heart, bringing life to the serenity around you.

As you leave, the vines and branches intertwine, leaving no seam of the entrance that had been there. The normal sounds of the forest surrounds you, the usual scent of pine and wet grass. All that is left is the memory of its beauty, and the peaceful calm that it left on your heart.

~As told by Druidess Elawyn Featherthorn,
Keeper and Mistress of the Travancian Druids’ Grove
