To the “Heroes” who bravely kidnapped my daughter:
Return April Bennett to me, and all will be forgiven. I understand that, in the heat of the moment, mistakes can be made, and the act of one should not be the bar by which I judge the lot of you. If you choose, however, not to return my daughter to me, then I will hold all of you accountable.
I understand matters such as these are weighty decisions and take Travancians time to process and understand. I will allow you one month to consider your actions. If my daughter is not returned to me by then, then you will leave me no choice, and what happens next will be on your head. Choose wisely.
Concerned Father,
- Lucien Bennett
Hello Anwir Bennett,
I am one of the people you met at April’s lovely birthday party. From what we talked about last Friday night, I believe we have the same overall goals. I am willing to talk with you about this as long as you can make certain that your brother is somewhere far away and is not a threat. I can guarantee your safety during our conversation if you do so. I’m sure you can get information on how to contact me from your wonderful brother, as he as already sent me a visitor.
-Sir Arley
Mr. Bennett,
If you are looking to converse with someone who does not have "a penchant for violence," you may be better suited to seek conversation outside of the Barony of Travance. I am afraid almost all of us bear that inclination.
However, I am willing to meet and talk things over peacefully. I also highly suggest you accept Dirge's offer of tea and crumpets. I find teatime with him to be consistently delightful, and you may learn a thing or two of those you are quick to judge.
Through Silver,
Master Reign
Dear Anwir Bennett
I am more than happy to assist where I can so that everything can be amicable and resolved peacefully. My offer still stands
With respect,
Squire Maliouse
Anwir,
Killing you serves no purpose, as all it would do is rob April of her new found uncle, and deprive a sentient, if touched vampire of his handler.
If I really wanted to hurt you, I'd go after your financials..
- Dirge
[Still not Bharash]
Robby,
As again you only have a penchance for violence, you will have to excuse me from attempting to communicate with you all.
I will reach out to Maliouse on my own accord.
Regards,
Anwir
Mr Bennet,
You misunderstand, I do in fact simply wish to talk, over crumpets and tea, in an open field, during the day, maybe with a game of lawn darts going. If your brother can't make it, than I'm sure he can send a representative of his. Perhaps you in fact.
I look forward to seeing you.
- Robert
P.S. I may even be able to acquire some of Mina's confectionery delectables.. she certainly has been baking a lot after the events of the party. Honestly, an excellent coping mechanism.
*Not Bharash*
Ser Robert Morgan and Company,
It has come to my attention that you enjoy puns and not-so-veiled threats against my brother. I ask that you immediately stop for the sake of all those involved. I do not wish for there to be any more bloodshed. We simply care for April's safe return and her well-being. If you must know she is already on a set course to take over the family Manor and live a handsome life.
I am more than willing to discuss any terms and conditions you may have; however, you seem to have a heart set on violence so I will only speak to the kind and helpful bartender. I believe their name is Maliouse?
Kind Regards,
Anwir Bennett
That sounds like a lovely time Robert, absolutely radiant. I'd love to join if that's alright, and I know of a baker that makes some spectacular garlic bread. I'm positive we can come to an accord where all are satisfied, preferably with April choosing her own path forward in life.
- Amhrán
Maybe a wayward fae can "convince" her to escape by some different means.
Kayden
You know, that's an excellent point, wooden tips do go in deeper...
-Robert
Ah. My mistake Robert. I'll get them sharpened. Maybe some silver flights on them instead of points. They pierce through the lawn better and I feel wooden points would also dig deeper into the dirt.
Perhaps I should invite Seamus. He and his wife would probably be excited to play some lawn darts with these.
- Kayden
Kayden,
Oh, those would fine. If they aren't sharp enough, we can probably get a smith to tip the points in silver. I'm Positive that will get the point across.
-Robert
Sure Robert....had to cut some logs for the upcoming games I am hosting at the festival anyway. Though they aren't sharp enough for lawn darts I don't think.
Do you need some anyway?
- Kayden
Hello, Mr.Bennett! People don't get stolen unless it's illegal. People are not an object! (and they should have free will!) I don't know a whole lot about all of the situation, but you probably need to figure out a compromise. April, your daughter, can choose for herself if she wants to see you. Best of luck trying to figure out a more reasonable demand! -Saint Clover of the House of Hatchet.
Kayden, By all means. Would you like to bring those wooden lawn darts? We can play a game or two over the discussion.
- Robert
*NOT CAELVAN*
No need to be rude Mieshi. You can simply say no.
Though I question who in Travance would kidnap someone. If you need assistance I can also help. Ser Morgan, is there room for one more?
- Kayden Weir, Draconic Scholar
Master Bennett,
If you will allow me to be so crass and ironic, allow me to be very direct as to my opinion of your request.
Bite me.
In Enax's name,
Mieshi Long Vordressi
(This plot is now more widely available to more seasoned players who may wish to assist those who are deeply involved, if you have questions please message me)
I would happily help you find your daughter. These foul ruffians that call themselves hero's need to be stopped. Why don't we meet at, say noon tomorrow over some sun tea and crumpets to discuss things in person. There's a nice sunny spot I know where we can picnic. Ser Robert Morgan
