!Attention!
(The bard enters stage right)
Mytus: “Well, I just finished speaking to the Stage Manager, Travance knows we’re coming.”
Mytus: “Excellent, I simply cannot wait to show them the brilliance of my play. I just know they will be inspired and encouraged like they truly never have before.” Mytus: “I agree! My play is magnificent. Speaking of, how is the cast performing?”
Mytus: (Turn, dramatically) “Oh, nobody has suffered such as is. The cast is DREADFUL! They just do not understand our vision!
Mytus: (face audience) “well…we cannot adjust their parts, they’re simply perfect as is. I’m sure we could adjust them as needed though. I imagine there is still part of them who would have fit their roles better than these overripe versions”
Mytus: And, if that doesn’t work, we can always hold more auditions in Travance. I can only imagine the career of some seasoned adventurer gone actor, my heart!”
Mytus (together) “The play will go on”
(The bards exit stage left)
