Earliest arrival on Wednesday: 2pm
To check in for the Weekday event, if James is not at logistics he will leave instructions to contact him at the Logistics desk.
Wednesday is a soft lay on, and there is no formal lay on gathering at the Inn.
On Friday afternoon, some folks will likely go out of game and leave camp for various reasons, while other players who are only attending the weekend arrive, but this is a soft hold and
Check In on Friday begins: 6pm
Lay on: 10pm
Lay off Sunday: 2pm
This event is a Feast event; Feast will be served around 6pm at the Dragon’s Claw Inn.
Mary Beth will share the menu when it’s ready. If you want to take care of early clean up, volunteering to set up, serve, or do dishes is a great way to do that.
Logistics during Weekday Event
For basic logistics needs during the Wednesday-Friday portion of the event, some marshals will be roaming logistics, able to complete bank transfers and process gathering for crafting components.
These marshals are Rachel B, Reed M, Jymme W, Dan S, Ben O, Lucian R, Chelsea Y, Kaii R, Lorna L.
Parking at Logistics
At this time, the only people authorized to park in the area behind or next to logistics are with direct permission from the Director, or the Officers, Safety Lead, Weekend Event Runner, and Exalted Team. Anyone else cannot leave their cars parked in that area.
Please do not park in front of the door/garage door to the area under the barn, or you will be parked in.
Safety Announcements
It is warming up, be sure to take care of yourself with sunscreen. Based on previous events, ticks are out in high numbers so far this year. Apply bug spray. Check yourself for ticks before going to bed, and it is recommended especially after going to any of the following locations: The Maze itself, The Ruins(mod site by the Manor), The Dragoon Cairn/the Path that leads to it, the path behind Alisandria to the Manor and the thieves path(the small trail between the main roads)
Keep any open food stored away in buildings and NOT IN TENTS when not being consumed. Throw out any trash that accumulates in trash cans and if there are any trash cans outside that you put food in, take it to the dumpster to avoid wildlife issues.
Community Announcements and New Player Training
Weekday Announcements: Please do your best to help keep the refrigerator organized. Do your best not to stuff large bags into the fridge. Some players could not access their belongings due to the mass amount of things piled in last event. If you need to remove someone's items to get to yours, be mindful and put it back just as carefully. Reminder that moderate drinking and smoking is allowed during the week portion. This does not mean get sloshed. We reserve the right to not only ID a player we may think is underage, but to also cut you off and ban further consuming during Knight Realm events should the need arise. Please do not abuse these privileges. This is also a time for staff to relax and hang with friends, so if we do not need to do our jobs, you are doing the right thing. Since we are at game for extended period of time, more of you will want to utilize the showers on camp understandably. Please be mindful of your water usage and how long you are taking. Be mindful and courteous to others.
New player Training will be held at 7:30 PM Friday under the tent by the Inn, weather pending potentially inside. First event players are required to attend. Should you miss this scheduled training, please find a community Rep to give you your own training. Saturday around 10:30am are usually best for make-ups. Your character card needs to be signed off to prove you attended. Important safety tools for the game are gone over at this time, as well as expectations for playing. Should you want a more in depth training about certain mechanics like combat, death, crafting, etc., you are welcome to stay longer and ask questions! The mandatory part of training should only be 20-30 minutes. We ask all other players to please stay clear of new player training as multiple people makes for more distractions and will cause training to go longer. Reminder that if you are engaging in CvC to please utilize the "Ok check-in system!" Safety tools are for anyone and everyone. Even if you think the other person is okay, it doesn't hurt to just flash the sign. Both Brandon and Crystal are helping with the event. Please do not bother them with any Community Rep work for this event. There are other Community Reps you can go to should the need arise. Ask questions if you have them!

Reminders from the Atmosphere Team this month!
Please stay in character. If for some reason you need to go out of game, please do so away from other players as to not impact their immersion and gameplay. Please do not interrupt a scene for an OOG comment unless it is absolutely necessary.
Roleplay your combat and sell your blows. It makes combat more fun for everyone.
Please do not openly use your phone. We get that there are times when you may need to check the time or check a rule, but please try to do these checks with your phone under a table or away from other players.
Please be mindful of your trash and OOG food containers. If they are left out, they will be thrown out.
There will be a workshop on “Roleplay Through Body Language" at 9 pm Friday night under the Market Tent led by Garrett (Plays Ahmran). All attendees will be awarded a free use of Inspire.
Card Team Announcements:
Cards and Patreon for Week in the Life
For purposes of payment and of your character card, Weekday and Weekend count as separate events. To attend both, you will pay for both events, each at the base cost of $50. (Attending both events will be $100.) Patreon subscriptions of Tier III or higher will cover one of the two events, but you will need to pay separately for the other. You will earn the build you pay for (base or higher) separately for each event.
If you attend both portions of the WitL event, you will only be given one character card. When learning skills please specify if the skill was learned week or weekend.
WEEK IN THE LIFE AND SKILLS
WitL counts as two events in regards to skill/slot refreshes (including Exalted Slots! These refresh at Lay On Friday night). Any rituals or skills that last "for one event" will last across both the weekday and weekend portions of WiTL
Cards Announcements
All RwP cards need to be signed off on a character card by a marshal. CRwP turned in with character cards in the box will not be accepted (they get loose and end up at the bottom of the box, y'all)
EVERYTHING ADDED TO A CHARACTER CARD MUST BE SIGNED. This includes bank transfers, rituals, lessons, RwP additions, etc. If someone writes something on your card and does not sign it with their card number and initials, remind them to! Notes without signatures are not valid!
Scars and rituals expire even if still on the character card, once they have reached their expiration date. Card Team removes these notes as we see them, but we don't get them all. Please note the date of the ritual/scar and note for yourself if it has expired!
Card Team will be available in the Bar Room Friday night during check-in to help new and returning players with cards. They will not be there Wednesday.
